Marijke Cazemier is a senior HR professional with more than 15 years' experience of Human Resources best practice. Her background has been in technical and engineering environments, mainly in the telecommunications industry. She is a psychology graduate from Birmingham University, member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and a qualified psychometric tester.

With a considerable understanding of intercultural team issues, Marijke has worked with diverse groups to find communality of objectives and increase mutual understanding. She is a skilled mediator who, through her balanced and calming influence, can reduce the pressure when situations are difficult. She has a direct and questioning style with a focus on tangible deliverables that can be translated back into the workplace.

Her experience covers all aspects of the Human Resources product portfolio, ranging from the application of employment law, to reward strategies, to employee attitude surveys and action plans, to HR system choice and implementation. She has a particular interest in working in partnership with managers, helping them evaluate strengths and areas for development of their team members, and using this as a platform for succession planning and performance management. Marijke is a highly skilled one-to-one coach, providing a sounding board for ideas, with a focus on practical actions that bring immediate results.

Marijke is a Dutch national, with fluency in English, Dutch and German, a solid French knowledge base (especially listening skills) and some understanding of Italian and Spanish. She has lived and worked in the Netherlands, Switzerland and the UK. Internationally, she has worked with teams in France, Italy, Dubai, USA and the UK.
